ABOUT THE FOUNDER

Greetings, I'm Lizzie – a certified yoga and breath work instructor, yoga therapist, and a former advertising executive. Having navigated the high-pressure, fast-paced realm of a professional office, I bring a profound understanding of the challenges inherent in such roles. My mission is to extend support for mental and physical well-being beyond the scope of my own career experiences, creating an online platform where individuals can rediscover balance, resilience, and holistic health. This is where ME’ting was born.

Chair Yoga you can do at your desk

Chair yoga is a modified form of yoga that can be practiced while sitting on a chair or using a chair for support. It offers several benefits, making it accessible to a wide range of individuals, including those with limited mobility or physical challenges. We will explore making space in the spine by seated twists, side stretching and forward folds. A great way to quickly re-energise a tired body.

Restorative Yoga to help you sleep better

The evening sessions will focus on undoing the day and cultivating rest. We can do that by longer held postures, floor based stretches, support from props/blankets/cushions and guided meditations, you will learn favourite ways to down regulate the nervous system before trying to go to sleep.

Breathing tools before presenting & public speaking

Effective breathing techniques can be valuable tools to help improve public speaking by enhancing vocal control, reducing anxiety, and promoting a sense of calm. In yoga we learn to control the breath and create the ability to breathe deeper and more fully. A range of techniques will be used in each session to practice the most effective and optimal breath to adopt when under pressure.

Rescue tools when stress manifests in symptoms

Ever felt overwhelmed? In Panic? Not sure what to tackle first? This is your nervous system in fight, flight or freeze mode. It's a normal reaction to being hyper-focused on external stimuli. Your cortisol levels are high, and you are experiencing stress. We'll give you quick action tools to manage these feelings when you need them most.
